Virat Kohli, the famous Indian cricketer, is set to move to London soon with his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay. This news was confirmed by his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma. He shared that Kohli and his family will be leaving India to settle in the UK.

Rajkumar Sharma did not share many details but mentioned that Kohli plans to spend the rest of his life in London after he retires from cricket. Over the past few years, Kohli has been seen in London frequently. In fact, his son Akaay was born there in February 2024. The couple also owns a property in London, which they are likely to live in once they move.

Sharma told Dainik Jagran, “Yes, Virat plans to move to London with his children and wife, Anushka Sharma. He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon. However, right now, Kohli is spending most of his time with his family apart from cricket.”

This year, Kohli and his family spent a lot of time in London. After the birth of his son, Kohli returned to India after the T20 World Cup in June. He played in the ODI series against Sri Lanka in July but went back to the UK in August. He stayed there until the home season started in India.

Currently, Kohli is playing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. His next big event will be the Champions Trophy, although the schedule and venues have not been announced yet. It is not clear when Kohli will return to London, but it could be sometime between the Champions Trophy and the IPL 2025.

Rajkumar Sharma also spoke about Kohli’s cricket form. Despite a tough run in the last two Tests against Australia, Sharma believes Kohli will soon return to top form. He said, “Virat is playing the best cricket of his career. I believe two more centuries will come from his bat in the next two matches. Virat’s form is not a concern.”

There has been some speculation about Kohli’s retirement, especially after the retirement of Ravichandran Ashwin. However, Sharma is confident that Kohli will continue to play for at least five more years. He even believes that Kohli will play in the 2027 World Cup. Sharma said, “Virat is still very fit and not too old to retire. I believe that Virat will play cricket for five more years. He will also be seen playing in the 2027 World Cup.”

Kohli’s fans will be happy to know that the cricketer is not retiring anytime soon and still has a lot of cricket left in him.
