Salman Khan recently shared a nostalgic moment with his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, by posting a picture of himself with his father’s first-ever bike, a 1956 Triumph Tiger 100. In the post, Salman wrote, “Dad’s 1st bike, Triumph Tiger 100, 1956,” offering fans a rare glimpse into the family’s history. The post included two photos: one of Salman with his father and another where he posed alone on the bike.
This heartwarming moment also brought attention to Salim Khan’s legendary career. Salman recently appeared in a documentary about his father, Angry Young Men, available on Prime Video. During the trailer launch, he spoke about the “brat” label given to the famous screenwriting duo Salim-Javed. He explained that this perception stemmed from their immense success, with the duo delivering hit after hit. Their popularity led to them turning down many producers and actors, which caused people to misunderstand their confidence as arrogance.

Salman clarified, saying the “brat” label was a result of the duo’s consistent success. He explained that people thought Salim-Javed had “lost their minds,” but in reality, they were simply making smart creative choices. Salman also pointed out that those who couldn’t work with them due to scheduling conflicts or creative differences were the ones who misunderstood their approach.
On the work front, Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss 18 and will soon be seen in the movie Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. The father-son moment shared by Salman and Salim Khan serves as a reminder of their strong bond and lasting impact on Bollywood.
