Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar once again proved that no one can match his sense of humour! During the trailer launch of his upcoming film Housefull 5, Akshay gave a funny reply when asked how much he charged for the film—and the crowd couldn’t stop laughing!
“Are You My Relative?” Akshay’s Witty Answer Goes Viral
A video from the event has gone viral, where a reporter asked Akshay how much he was paid for Housefull 5. With a big smile, Akshay joked,
“Agar maine paise liye honge toh main tujhe kyun btaaunga? Tu humara bhatija lagta hai?”
(“If I took money, why would I tell you? Are you some kind of relative?”)
He didn’t stop there. He added,
“Maine paise liye, bhut acche khase liye. Film bani, bhut acche khaase budget mein bani. Bhut maza aaya. Aaj khushi ka din hai, tune raid daalna hai?”
(“Yes, I took money—and a good amount too. The film was made on a solid budget. We had a lot of fun. Today is a happy day, and you want to do a raid?”)
His clever comeback left the audience and media laughing out loud.
What Is Housefull 5 All About?
Housefull 5 is the fifth part of the popular comedy film series. It is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film brings back the favourite trio—Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan—who were last seen together in Housefull 3.
The movie also stars big names like Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, and many more. The cast spent 40 days shooting on a cruise ship, which promises lots of fun and laughter on screen.
