Delhi’s air quality has reached ‘severe’ levels for the first time this season, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 418 posing significant health risks, especially to vulnerable populations. The CPCB reported that most monitoring stations indicated severe pollution. The BJP has called for the closure of schools up to Class 5 to protect children’s health.
